Chase's United Airline Visa

Many years ago, I acquired a Chase United Visa. As some may have guessed, United refers to the popular airline and this credit card offers free airline miles whenever you use the card. Generally, you will get one airline mile for every dollar you spend although there are partnership deals which can deliver additional mileage points.
Von's Supermarket, for example, was offering a 2 for 1 deal whenever you made a purchase at the shop with your Chase United Visa. So, if you charged $10 you received 20 points. Certainly, that is not a bad deal since the amount of miles you accrue will definitely amass over time.
How many miles you may wish to save will depend upon where you want to go. I have been avoiding cashing out my miles because I would like a free round trip to Australia. Of course, this will require a great many more miles than domestic flights. That that do wish to fly frequently within North America will find it is not all that tough to amass the requisite amount of miles in order to acquire a free ticket.
This United credit card also offers the ability to purchase 15,000 miles for $300. So, if you are short on miles for a long distance trip, you always have the option of purchasing extra miles. In essence, this provides you with an expensive ticket at a great discount. For those wishing to travel but have limited funds, this may prove to be the best option available.
My one complaint with this particular card is the interest rates are a little "up there" but they are not outrageously high. As such, I recommend this particular airline miles card since it delivers if not outright exceeds expectations.
